Going from good to great.

As you know, styling your session is super important and fun cause you get to go shopping! Choosing outfits that match the season, the location and remaining true to yourself is a lot to think about. I will send out styling information to help you find coordinating outfits for your session. Included in the emails is my outfit inspo pinterest page. I highly recommend you put thought into this process and take my guides to heart. You are investing in photographs with me, your favorite Omaha family photographer, and I want to make sure you get the most out of your session. Investing in outfits is what takes your session from good to amazing.

Everything about styling your session is important to consider, from your clothes

down to your shoes.

There is a lot more to think about when it comes to picking out your wardrobe then just making sure you look nice. You'll want to remember to texture, patterns, complementary colors, jewelry, hats, blankets, layering pieces and shoes. I recommend you start with your (moms) outfit and go from there. Make sure you are feel amazing in your clothes. You should have at least one person in a pattern and then build your colors off of them choosing a couple neutrals. If you are really good at complementing patterns please do so. The key is to success is to coordinate not match! Also keep in mind the colors you prefer to wear. Some colors just don't look good in certain seasons to book your session around the time of year when it fits. Same goes for your personality, if you like to wear jeans and a tshirt with your nikes then book an urban downtown Omaha session. I have several different pinterest boards for each type of session, like this urban one, to help give you inspiration on your outfits.

Last but not least!

Think about things like certain materials and how they might not flow great, maybe they ride up when you sit down. Does the vest you put on your little one block his face when sitting. Make sure to be on the lookout for things like that, so even if the outfit looks cute laying on the bed you need to have your little try it on and move around to see if it actually works. Another factor is the weather, Nebraska weather is always changing. So plan to have layers on under or on top of your outfits. As well as having a back up plan on outfits if the weather is 90 degrees and then going to be 45 degrees the next day. You know what I'm talking about, the rollercoaster we like to get here in Omaha, Nebraska.

Can't wait to meet you!
